Disinformation Roundtable

Massey Public Policy Chair, Thomas Axworthy will facilitate a roundtable discussion on Disinformation. Joining him will be experts and practitioners from different fields: information technology, new media, education, journalism, civil society, public safety, government, and politics.

This by-invitation-only event is part of the Public Policy Program's ongoing effort to explore the ethical and practical impacts of new technologies on Canada's democratic institutions and processes, and on policy outcomes. It is also part of the Program's 2025 to 2028 plan to respond to the Trump 2.0 era.

  • Surface actionable policy recommendations for different levels of government
  • Highlight areas requiring further research, investment, or public dialogue
