James Lautens

Biography:

JAMES LAUTENS is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from Victoria College at the University of Toronto where he studied History and Classical Civilization. Previously, he worked as an Archival Assistant at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington D.C. and as an Engagement Coordinator and Junior Research Fellow at the NATO Association of Canada. Currently he does contract work for the Critical Minerals Institute based here in Toronto. His research interest includes the intersection of global security and culture as well as how to de-stigmatize social housing.
